Hille House Retreat is your destination for a rejuvenating quilting getaway in Kendalia, Texas. Experience the serenity and creativity of our beautiful retreat.
Experience the comfort of this home featuring two spacious bedrooms, equipped with a full bed and 5 twin-sized beds, perfect for accommodating a group of 6. In addition to 6 worktables, feel free to use the comfy recliner to complete handwork. Enjoy the convenience of two full bathrooms and gather around the beautiful rock fireplace for cozy evenings. The large front window offers stunning views of neighborhood deer during the mornings and evenings, while expansive back covered patio, complete with outdoor furniture, is ideal for relaxation with a glass of wine. The sunlit dining room and spacious open-concept kitchen, featuring a coffee maker, make this home a welcoming retreat.
Living & Work Area
The kitchen is fully furnished with a full-sized refrigerator, oven, microwave, a variety of pots, pans, crock pots, InstaPot and baking pans. Dishes and utensils are also provided.
The dining area seats 6.
Enjoy high-speed internet and a large TV in the sewing area.
Each of the 6 guests will have access to one of the following:
- 5’x3’ table (sturdy with no bouncing)
- Ott Light w/fan
- Chair w/lumbar support
- Electrical connections (power towers)
- There is a cutting table as well as an ironing station equipped with a full-sized iron.
The handwork area has a leather recliner and floor lamp.
- Take a break and enjoy the fresh air on our rustic back porch with coffee or a glass of wine.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
There are 2 bedrooms which accommodate the following guests in each:
Bedroom #1: 1 twin-sized bed & 1 full-sized bed
Bedroom #2: 4 twin-XL beds
Each bed has 2 pillows, sheets, a coverlet, custom quilt and a bedside table and lamp. There are outlets or power strips on each sidetable as well charging phones & other devices.
There are 2 full bathrooms, one on each end of the house.
Linens are provided including face cloths, hand towels, and bath towels. We also provide body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and a hair dryer in each bathroom.

Investment
Our pricing for your stay is set at $65 per person, with a minimum requirement of four guests per night and a maximum of six. To ensure a comfortable experience, we ask for a minimum stay of two nights. This structure allows us to provide you with the best possible service and amenities during your visit. If you have any questions or need assistance with your booking, feel free to reach out!

Booking Procedure
Please be informed that a $100 deposit is required for each group. The remaining balance must be paid no less than two weeks prior to check-in. Payments can be made via Venmo, Paypal, cash, or check. If paying by check, please make it out to Hille House Quilt Retreat LLC. Thank you for your understanding!

Rescheduling or Cancellations
Our cancellation policy requires guests to reschedule or cancel their stay at least 60 days before check-in. Please note that the $100 deposit is due upon booking and is non-refundable if a cancellation occurs within the 60-day period. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you soon!

After years of dreaming of owning my own retreat, we finally had the chance to transform a family friend's home into a haven for quilters and crafters. With love and dedication, we transformed this property, originally owned by the Hille family, to create a space where creativity flourishes and friendships blossom.
